Since 2007, The Palmyra Foundation has actively pursued its mission to improve and enhance the literacy level of Jamaican Kindergarten children. The charity's Books4Kids Jamaica program has enjoyed great media coverage for its efforts to raise money and distribute books.

The charity announced its fourth Online Charity Auction from May 1 - 9, 2015, to raise money for books for the 2015/ 2016 school year.
